Young and old alike stepped back in time with a weekend of wartime nostalgia celebrated with costumes, music and vintage vehicles.
The annual 1940s weekend in Haworth was welcomed with gusto by residents and visitors, who dressed for their roles as land girls, soldiers and evacuees.
Evening events tested modern-day dancers at their jitter-bug and quick-step routines. And memorabilia such as period fashion, ration cards and wartime recipes were on display whilst period music entertained the passing crowds.
The wartime event even attracted some famous faces, as lookalikes of Winston Churchill and the Queen mingled with the crowds yesterday afternoon.
