A councillor is demanding officers at Bradford Council draw up a timetable for work at a controversial waste tip.
Councillor Simon Cooke and parish councillors have also criticised the lack of information given to them by Bradford Council over the on-going saga at Manywells tip in Cullingworth.
Major clear-up and landscaping work at the site was due to start in spring, but has been delayed again.
Coun Cooke (Con, Bingley Rural) said: "I feel very let down. What disappoints me as a ward member is the paucity of communication from the Council. It is not telling us what it is doing. We are assured by officers it is possible work will start in the summer. We are asking the Council to provide a detailed timetable."
About £5.8 million is due to be spent on the site, which has been plagued with controversy since contractors Wastepoint went into liquidation in 2002.
More than 90,000 tonnes of rubbish is set to be removed and pollutant leakages controlled. Money for the scheme will come from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).
Members of the Council's environmental health department, waste management and representatives of Defra met last week.
Brian Anderson, Bradford Council's environment health manager, said he would attend next month's Cullingworth Parish Council meeting to keep villagers informed.
In January Bradford Council bought the land for £500 from the Crown. Once the work is completed the site could be turned into a picnic area.
