Woodland creatures have taken over at Betty’s Cafe Tea Rooms in Ilkley for Easter.
Easter bunnies may be part of tradition, but the celebrated tea rooms have introduced badgers and ducks, as well as lambs and hens to their range of Easter treats.
Milk chocolate badgers, white chocolate rabbits, chocolate lambs, praline ducks and marzipan ducks are appearing as Easter draws closer.
“This year we took our inspiration from classic English woodland scenes to create a range of superbly handcrafted treats,” said manager of Bettys in Ilkley, Hazel Bone.
“Our characterful milk chocolate badger has captured the hearts of customers at first sight.”
The business says the badgers have been such a runaway success that they will soon be on the endangered list.
