Children from Barkerend Primary School have been working with neighbourhood wardens and Bradford Council’s recycling team to place stickers on wheelie bins to promote recycling.

The children, who recently became junior wardens, will be using the “Stop It” stickers to remind people that they should try and recycle rather than throw certain materials away.

They aim to encourage people to keep glass bottles, paper and cans out of their rubbish bin.

The session was organised by Bradford North area co-ordinator’s office.
