Computers were shut down and light switches flicked off at a Bradford primary school this week.
Children and staff at Bradford Moor Community Primary School, in Marchbank Road, marked Earth Hour, a global call to action to every individual, business and community throughout the world to take responsibility for climate change.
Last year people in 88 countries took part. This year Earth Hour is today at 8.30pm. At Bradford Moor, the lights were turned off for an hour as classes were held in candlelight.
