A man and a woman were taken to hospital following a chip pan blaze at their home today.
Fire crews from Odsal were scrambled to Elwyn Road, West Bowling, Bradford, to reports of the fire at 5.30am.
Ambulances were also sent to the semi-detached house to take the 32-year-old man and 29-year-old woman to Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Borth were suffering from the effects of breathing in toxic smoke and the woman had a burn to her left hand.
