Police are investigating after stables burned to the ground in Leaventhorpe Lane, Fairweather Green, Bradford, last night.
Fore crews spent about three hours tackling the blaze from about 8.30pm.
The wooden building was well alight when two crews from Fairweather Green Fire station arrived at the scene.
Ronnie Goldwater, Fairweather Green watch manager, said the fire was being treated as "suspicious" and police were investigating.
A fire service investigator was also due to visit the scene today to try to establish the cause.
