Pudsey’s Hayley Tamaddon will be battling it out on the ice on Sunday in the Dancing on Ice final.
The former Emmerdale actress, Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson and actor Gary Lucy are preparing to ‘fly’ in Sunday’s performance which will see the three finalists deliver an airborne performance above and on the rink.
Two of the finalists will go on to perform their own interpretation of Torvill and Dean’s Olympic-winning dance, The Bolero.
Angie Green, manager of Bradford Ice Arena where Hayley and Kieron have been practising throughout the series, is backing both in the finals.
She said: “I am asking everybody to vote for both. They deserve to be where they are and they are really nice people. It’s been a real pleasure to work with them.”
Angie and Bradford Ice Arena skate coach Sarah George were invited to Sunday’s live semi-finals.
While pundits predict Hayley will win, Angie believes it could be close.
She said: “From day one Hayley has demonstrated she is an exceptional performer. However, I don’t think it should be ignored that from where Kieron was at the beginning and where he is now he has improved the most, so it depends how you are judging the competition.”
Sunday’s final is on ITV1 at 7.45pm.
