The queues stretched around the block as hordes of Peter Andre fans waited for their chance to see him in concert.

The crowd, which was mostly made up of women, braved the elements as they waited to get into St George’s Hall to see the heart-throb perform last night.

Carole Rutter, of Haworth, was queuing up with her 14-year-old niece Olivia Di Cristofaro, who had been bought tickets for the concert as part of her birthday present.

Carole said: “I have been a fan for years. I think he is just a good singer and a good performer. I’m looking forward to all the songs, especially the new ones.”

Olivia said: “I’m really excited because it’s part of my birthday present. I like all the songs, like Mysterious Girl. We’ve been singing them all on the way here.”

Meanwhile, Angela Smith, of Shipley, was with a group of friends who had only managed to get their tickets on Friday. She said: “I like everything about him.”
