An extended and refurbished Cross Hills Library reopens on Monday.
The Main Street facility has been given a £345,000 facelift, which includes an improved children’s area, an interview room, a new collection of DVDs, improved disabled access and computers with internet access.
County Councillor Philip Barrett said: “I’m really pleased these major improvements have now been completed.
"The doubling of the library has transformed this important community resource. I would urge South Craven’s residents to take full advantage of the new facilities.”
It will open 2pm to 7pm Monday and Friday; 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm, Wednesday; 2pm to 5pm, Thursday and 10am to 1pm, Saturday.
