The performance of Cottingley Village Primary School is satisfactory, according to school inspectors Ofsted.
It has some good features, such as the quality of education in the Early Years Foundation Stage, the care, support and guidance provided for pupils and the effectiveness with which the school works in partnership with others, including parents and carers.
But the report found that good teaching practice is not consistently applied across all classes and several staff changes have hampered efforts to bring about rapid improvement.
