A mother and son are taking part in next month’s London Marathon to raise money for children’s charity Whizz-Kidz.
Jackie and Oliver Carter, of Brighouse, will pound the streets of the capital in support of the organisation, which provides mobility equipment, advice and training to disabled youngsters.
The pair, who train at the Princess Mary Stadium in Cleckheaton, are to hold a car-boot sale at the venue on Monday, April 5, from 9am to 1pm to help them reach their £1,500 fundraising target.
