The Saltaire Wurlitzer organ is soon to celebrate a year since its instalment at Victoria Hall.
In the past 12 months it has been filmed for a BBC pilot TV show and has been regularly featured on radio broadcasts.
It is likely to be included in the Antiques Roadshow to be filmed at the hall in April and celebrated theatre organist Jelani Eddington will record a CD on it.
Plans are also under way for a Wurlitzer convention over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Victoria Hall manager Stacey Clarkin said: “It’s slotted perfectly into place. It’s at home here and the amount of people it’s brought to the venue is phenomenal.”
The Cinema Organ Society would like to hear from anyone who can help out with promotion of the instrument. Call Godfrey Nield on (0845) 4002 208.
