British Olympic hope Anne Bochmann gave Year Seven pupils a swimming lesson at Dixons Allerton Academy.
The 17-year-old took time out of her training schedule to visit the Bradford school as part of the Wells Sports Foundation Sporting Ambas-sador programme.
Miss Bochmann, who won four gold medals at the 2008 and 2009 European Junior Championship, also talked to students about her training and how she balances her routine with her studies. She said: “Hopefully I can help inspire people to get more involved in sports.”
The Wells Sports Foundation was set up by Barrie Wells to encourage greater participation of young people in sports. He is using his money to help athletes train for the Olympics in 2012.
