There’s a treat in store for fans of jazz, folk and blues music when Daintees frontman Martin Stephenson (pictured) takes to the stage at Korks Wine Bar and Brasserie in Otley tonight.

The show is part of the venue’s True Troubadours season.

Martin, who formed The Daintees in 1980, went on to tour with a number of bands including Aztec Camera and Prefab Sprout and has recorded critically-acclaimed albums.

“Martin has an excellent reputation built on years of gigging around the globe. It promises to be a fantastic evening of entertainment for all kinds of music lovers,” says Korks manager Chris Payne.

The True Troubadours season has already featured a host of top folk, jazz and blues stars, and forthcoming gigs include Julie Felix on April 2, Jon Gomm on April 9, Jason Feddy on April 16 and Stacey Earle, sister of Steve Earle, together with husband Mark Stuart, on April 30.
