Police officers will blitz an area to warn residents following a spate of attempted house break-ins.
From today Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team were stepping up patrols in Nab Wood, to deter would-be thieves.
The initiative follows reports of four attempted burglaries, in Nab Wood Drive and Nab Wood Crescent, on Tuesday between 7.30pm and midnight.
Inspector John Tatham said police would be knocking on doors and handing out alarms. Anyone with information about the attempted burglaries in Nab Wood should call the police on 0845 6060606, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
