A Bradford businesswoman has been shortlisted for a young enterprise award by the Asian Business Network.
Farnaz Kahn, 30, who owns eResponse Media Ltd will compete for the title against three other nominees.
The mother of four set up her direct marketing agency in 2006 after struggling to find work that gave her the flexibility to care for her children. The company survived the tough economic climate and achieved gross profits of more than £134,000 last year.
The company has recently won contracts from companies in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
Farnaz said: “It’s an honour to be recognised for all the hard work I’ve put in. I hope this shows other younger people that they can overcome their barriers and achieve something brilliant.”
