The funeral of stabbed schoolboy Jack Taylor will take place next week.
Mourners will gather at St Paul’s Church, Buttershaw, Bradford, on Tuesday to say their final farewells to the nine-year-old.
The boy suffered multiple stab wounds at his sister’s home in Rookes Avenue, Wibsey, last month. His brother Daniel Taylor, 20, has been charged with his murder and wounding his 18-year-old sister, Rachel, with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
A hearing has been fixed at Bradford Crown Court for June 11, with a provisional date for a five-day trial to start on September 13. Taylor, of Richardson Avenue, Bradford, has been remanded in custody.
Jack’s funeral takes place at 11.30am followed by cremation at Scholemoor crematorium. His family has asked that donations in his memory should go to the NSPCC.
