Pupils took part in circus activities as part of celebrations to mark a Bradford special school’s closure.
A circus skills workshop and face-painting, biscuit-decorating and badge-making sessions were held at Greenfield Special School in Idle, which is one of ten special schools in Bradford due to close on April 18 as part of a district-wide reorganisation of special education.
Former pupils, staff and parents attended a reunion, where photographs taken throughout the school’s 37-year history were displayed.
Deputy head Ann Andrew said: “We had a fantastic time. Everyone enjoyed sharing memories and looking at old photos.”
