Ashlands Primary School, in Ilkley, is an outstanding school, report education watchdog Ofsted.
An inspection was published yesterday after a visit to the school, in Leeds Road, by a team of inspectors last month.
In her report, inspector Marie Cordey said: “This is an outstanding school where each pupil is cared for exceptionally well.”
Head teacher Eileen Fitzpatrick, the board of governors at the school, which is chaired by Matt Bacon, and other staff received warm praise. Mrs Cordey stated: “Spirited and uncompromising leadership and management involve all staff in driving the school’s commitment to the personal and academic development of every pupil.”
