There’s a ‘young guns’ double header on at Keighley Blues Club later this month.
First up is rising blues star Dani Wilde, who established herself as a consummate blueswoman with highly-acclaimed debut album Heal My Blues. Recent tours of Germany and America were followed by a storming performance at the Maryport Blues Festival where she was crowned Best Female Vocalist. She visits Keighley after appearing at the Festival International de Blues, Corralejo, in Fuerteventura. Still in her 20s, Dani is leading a new generation of blues fans with a conviction and emotional delivery beyond her years.
Also on the bill is Will ‘Harmonica’ Wilde and The Neptune Blues Band. Will, of Brighton, formed the band in 2005 when he was just 17, and released his debut album Nothin’ But Trouble.
Now 21, Will has performed many times on BBC radio including a session for The Paul Jones Show on Radio 2.
Catch the ‘young guns’ at Keighley Blues Club on Friday, March 26. For tickets, ring (01535) 600310 or e-mail bbj21@btinternet.com
