A bereaved husband is still waiting to find out if he will be charged with aiding and abetting the suicide of his 62- year-old wife.
The Crown Prosecution Service is reviewing the case of Michael Bateman, of Monk Ings, Birstall, who was bailed after being arrested and questioned by detectives.
His wife Margaret, who had suffered undiagnosed pain for many years, was found dead in the bedroom of their home with a bag over her head and helium pipes leading into it.
An inquest in November was adjourned until the CPS decided whether to prosecute. The Coroner had heard how the family appeared to have been using the internet to research suicide before the death, on October 20 last year. A spokesman for the CPS said the case was still under review.
