A £137,000 project in Silsden town centre to replace an old metal gas main with modern plastic pipe is nearing completion.
Work is now taking place to connect service pipes from individual properties to the new Northern Gas Networks main on Kirkgate and Howden Road.
Two-way traffic lights are in place on Kirkgate.
United Utilities and Enterprise expects to complete the work by Friday.
