A robber threatened a man with a knife before stealing his mobile phone and cash.
The victim had left a shop and was walking along Albert Road, Queensbury, when he was approached by the attacker, who forced him down a small road to the car park, where he was told to sit down, police revealed yesterday.
The robber, described as skinny with a pointy nose, then demanded money and the man’s mobile phone, which were handed over, before he made off on foot.
The attacker was wearing a white hooded zip jacket with a blue criss-cross design, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers. He spoke with a local accent.
He was described as being white, in his 20s, 6ft to 6ft 2 in with ginger or brown short hair with a brushed down fringe.
Anyone with information about the robbery at 7.10pm on Sunday, should contact Detective Constable Paul Riley on 0845 6060606 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
