A bus company has agreed to improve services between Shipley and Wrose following public pressure.
Residents complained that two buses left Shipley Market Place at the same time after 3pm, then there was a half-hour gap until the next two services.
A new timetable has now been agreed with First Bus, which will see the 846 leave Market Place at three minutes and 33 minutes past the hour. The 624 will leave at 20 minutes and 48 minutes past the hour.
Councillor John Watmough (Lib Dem, Windhill & Wrose) said: “This is a triumph for common sense. First Bus realised as soon as it was pointed out to them that a change was needed.”
The new timetable will operate from April 26.
