Real ale enthusiasts have drunk Bradford Beer Festival dry for another year.
Bumper numbers poured through the doors of the three-day event at Saltaire’s Victoria Hall, and organisers at Bradford CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) had more than 150 different types on offer, as well ciders, perries and fruit wines. Glasses were also raised to Saltaire’s Wurlitzer, installed in the hall last year.
Bradford CAMRA chairman Bill Arnold said: “Friday night was so packed all the tickets went on the doors and people were queuing up outside. It was a case of one out, one in.
“We get busier every year. People will be thinking we need somewhere bigger.”
Beers from Saltaire Brewery and Dudley Hill-based Salam-ander were in demand as were others that had travelled from further afield including Crom-pton in Pickering, North Yorkshire.
