A children’s play centre is diversifying to make sure mums keep on the go too.
Funsters in Harry Street, Dudley Hill, is about to start two exercise classes for mums who want to keep fit while their youngsters have fun.
Owner Lynne O’Neill said: “My daughter came up with the idea because it is so difficult for mums to get to the gym when they have little ones.
“We’ve organised it so children can go off and play but are still in full view of mum. They can even join in if they want.”
She added: “We’re hoping seeing their mums setting a good example of exercising will give children the message early on that keeping active is fun and good for you.”
The new classes with a fully qualified instructor start on Tuesday, March 9 from 10am to 10.45am and on Thursday, March 11 from 11.15am to noon, for six weeks at £2 each.
