PCs Cooper and Walsh like nothing better than sipping tea in quiet country lanes, hiding from crime.
But, as fans of Last Of The Summer Wine know, their lot is rarely a happy one as they keep finding themselves in arresting situations.
Wilsden’s Ken Kitson and former Brookside actor Louis Emerick, who played Cooper and Walsh, have teamed up again for an improvisational stage show.
An Arresting Night With Cooper And Walsh got a run out at Holmfirth last year and it returns tomorrow night at Skipton’s Mart Theatre.
Ideas for sketches come from the audience, and Ken and Louis, as their hapless TV characters, will think on their feet and respond as Cooper and Walsh.
An Arresting Night With Cooper And Walsh at the Mart Theatre starts at 7.30pm. For tickets, ring (01756) 791411.
