A Silsden family will be in action again next weekend, raising money for a charity that helps people with brain tumours.
Daniel Wilkinson, 15, a pupil at South Craven School, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2004 and, since then, he and his family have organised an annual fundraiser.
Over the years they have raised more than £15,000. This year’s event, a coffee morning, will take place at St James’ Church Hall, Silsden, next Saturday, from 9am to noon. The proceeds will be donated to the Bingley-based Andrea’s Gift.
