A graphics student and part-time model from the University of Bradford has been chosen over hundreds of other applicants to be part of a new campaign for the underwear store Bravissimo.
Leela Tikadar, aged 22, of Manningham, said: “It’s amazing! I can’t believe I was picked out of all those girls! I’ve never done a television advert before and it’s both weird and exciting.”
A size 28 E Leela said: “It’s the only place I can find pretty lingerie in my size.
“Having a small back and a big cup size can make it difficult to buy underwear I like, but Bravissimo makes it easy.”
Leela has also done TV extra work before and has a keen interest in special effects make-up but she says she is going to stay at university and get her graphics communications media degree.
The television campaign will be launched on Monday and will include only real Bravissimo customers.
“She looks great!” said Rebecca O’Connor, of Bravissimo.
