Residents are voicing concerns over traffic problems around the proposed new Tesco store in Ilkley.
The supermarket chain has written to homeowners in Mayfield Road telling them of its appeal against the decision to block its new development and inviting them to talks about parking spaces near their homes.
But residents are refusing to meet Tesco and have started sending letters of objection to councillors.
Jacqueline Gilmartin, of Mayfield Road, said neighbours feared double yellow lines would be imposed outside their homes, opposite the entrance to the store.
She said: “It would be a dangerous road if approved, not only for us but for people throughout Ilkley, who don’t want a bigger Tesco’s.”
A Tesco spokesman said that the proposed meeting was intended to discuss a range of options, such as a residents’ car park.
