A Bradford horse riding school has raised almost £2,000 for two charities by holding a 24-hour sponsored ride.
Throstle Nest Riding School, based in Fagley Lane, Fagley, presented its Riding for the Disabled group and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance with £914.28 each. The group rode through the night during the event, held at the end of last year.
The event was organised by riding school owner Jeannette Wheeler and her daughter Abigail.
Mrs Wheeler said: “The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is called out quite often to riding accidents.
“The riding for the disabled group will be able to buy new equipment and subsidise lessons for the riders.”
