A 42-year-old man, driving a Fiat Punto, suffered head injuries in a crash with a double-deck bus today.
He was freed from the wreckage by firefighters following the accident at the junction of Tabbs Lane and Westfield Lane, Cleckheaton, shortly before 12.30pm. He was taken by ambulance to Bradford Royal Infirmary.
A police spokesman said no passengers were on the bus. Firefighters from Odsal, Hunslet, Brighouse, Bradford and the major rescue unit from Cleckheaton attended. Police accident investigators remained at the scene this afternoon.
