A group of 250 young performers are taking inspiration from the circus to dazzle audiences.
The youngsters, aged three to 18, at the Stardom School for Performing Arts in Shelf, are rehearsing for their new show, Razzle Dazzle ‘Em, at the Victoria Theatre, Halifax, from tomorrow to Saturday. Principal Liz Davies said: “The show features dance numbers and excerpts from a variety of shows, films and popular music.
“There’s a lovely circus routines and other themes include the Mr Men, Take That! street rhythms and ‘Children of The Revolution’. Proceeds will go to the Martin House Children’s Hospice. Our musical director, Mike Gilroy, is a music therapist there.”
