Flowerbeds at Saltaire’s 150-year-old almshouses will be given a makeover when a housing trust plants hundreds of roses.
The roses will be planted tomorrow to replace the old roses in Alexandra Square, to brighten up the square for residents living on Victoria Road.
Veolia, contractors for Bradford’s housing trust Incommunities, will also tidy up the surrounding grassed area as part of the scheme.
