Children and staff at a Bradford school dressed as their favourite storybook characters to celebrate National Book Week.
Knowleswood Primary School, Knowles Lane, Holme Wood, ran a storytelling week, and the children dressed up as characters including the Tin Man, Where’s Wally, and princesses. Staff also joined in the fun.
Office manager Linda Norton, who dressed as Pinocchio, said: “They have all done really well, there were so many good ideas we were really impressed.
“Some of the parents had spent weeks making the outfits. One boy’s grandma knitted his Where’s Wally outfit.”
Different activities were held in classrooms, and the event was also held in preparation for World Book Day, on Thursday, March 4.
