Skating hopefuls Hayley Tamaddon and Kieron Richardson will be hoping to wow the Dancing on Ice judges tomorrow, after a week of training at Bradford Ice Arena.
Hayley, of Pudsey, and professional partner Dan Whiston were top of the scoreboard on last week’s 1970s-themed show, scoring a total of 23 points with their fast-paced routine to disco hit No More Tears (Enough is Enough).
Former Emmerdale star Hayley thrilled viewers with a daring straddle lift, and she has been busy practising the ‘headbanger’ move for tomorrow’s show.
She feels in safe hands when it comes to lifts. “Dan would never drop me,” she said.
“I knew it was going to be hard work but if you love something you will put 100 per cent into it.
"There is no point doing a show like this if you are not expecting it to be hard work.”
Kieron came sixth on the scoreboard, with 15 points. Wearing brightly coloured disco outfits, he and Canadian partner Brianne Delcourt skated to Play That Funky Music.
* Dancing on Ice is on ITV tomorrow at 6.25pm, with the results show at 9.30pm.
