An elderly woman was left with a bruised hand after a man forced his way into her home and stole money and jewellery after making threats last night.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the robbery which took place at about 8pm yesterday at the home of the elderly woman in Chapel Lane, Queensbury.
The suspect was a white man, about 20 years old and 5ft 6ins tall.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "The suspect forced his way into her home and stole money and jewellery after making threats.
"The lady was left with a bruised hand."
