Bradford-based Yorkshire Water is on the hunt for the region’s most quirky toilet.
The company wants to encourage people to love their loo after recording an increase in people flushing away their rubbish, causing clogged pipes and sewer flooding.
The company is holding ‘Loo’ve Been Framed’ – a competition to find the region’s most kitsch and chintzy lavatory.
Anyone who thinks their latrine is better than bog-standard is asked to take a photograph of it and send it to Yorkshire Water, or upload it to an online toilet gallery at yorkshire water.com/loveyourloo.
The winning toilet will be crowned the region’s most loved loo and its owner will receive £250 Laura Ashley vouchers.
To enter, customers can send their photos – clearly marked with their name, address and contact number – by e-mail to marketing@yorkshire water.co.uk or post them FAO Matt Thompson, Press Office, Yorkshire Water, Halifax Rd, Bradford, BD6 2LZ.
