Brighouse are second in the table and on course for promotion but James Stansfield's men know going up is not a foregone conclusion.
Last week they were thrashed at home by leaders Keighley - dismissed for 68 in ridiculously-easy fashion. So
bouncing back at tricky Bowling Old Lane tomorrow is a must.
Only Keighley remain unbeaten in the Second Division - they look head and shoulders above the rest with an eight-point lead at the top. But they have a rest day tomorrow and Brighouse could narrow that gap to just two points. Although Brighouse have three fewer wins, they have picked up three four-pointers via winning draws.
Old Lane, though, are no pushovers, and Zubair Najeeb's battlers have only lost two matches - the same as tomorrow's opponents. Last week they were narrowly beaten at home by
promotion-seeking Undercliffe.
Fourth-placed Yeadon travel to Esholt and it is highly unlikely that the game will end in a draw. Yeadon tend to win or lose, having won four and lost four of their ten games (the other two were abandoned).
Esholt, while having only lost one of their nine games, are not having the best of seasons. Yeadon know they must win to keep in touch. Undercliffe have, on paper, the easier task of taking on bottom club Windhill away.
