Glusburn blasted almost 300 runs as they went on the rampage against Bradley.

Omar Khatab top scored with 107 and Russell Newton scored 64 as James Heseltine took 6-117.

The visitors folded on 130 with Mick Riddiough top scoring on 41 as Steve Filkin 5-45 and N Khan 3-6 sent them packing.

Cullingworth and Oakworth both drop out of joint third place after suffering defeats on their travels.

Cullingworth were at Cowling who posted 192-9 with Simon Spencer blasting 90no as M Pearson claimed 4-67. The visitors fell agonisingly four short of their target with G Fletcher leading the way with 41 as Steve Richardson claimed 6-71.

Oakworth were at Thornton and, batting first, made a creditable 172-8 with Steve Hartley and Drew Duffy each scoring 46 as Kev Pollard took 4-35. The Booth Bridge Laners romped to a fine six-wicket win with Skipper Richard Craddock scoring 61no and Jason Lockley 37no.

First Division leaders, Barrowford, were in the driving seat when play was suspended because of rain.

Entertaining Embsay they had them on the back foot in a 30-overs-per-side game by sending two batters back to the hut with no runs on the board. Worse was to follow for the Shires Laners as two more wickets fell as the total reached 19. Skipper Duncan Ward, 54, and Nick Williamson, 23, put on 60 for the fifth wicket where the latter went. The innings closed on 98-7 with Ronnie Misra bowling through to finish with 5-56. The Bull Holme side were progressing very well and at 37-1 in the 14th over were looking good for the points.

Second placed Bingley Congs were hanging on grimly at Haworth when stumps were drawn. Damian Rowell with 80, Andy Godden 43 and Richard Powell 40 had helped the Bronte side to 190 in their innings. Rowell followed this with 7-53 as Congs stuttered to 113-8. Earlier Chris Hemsley had taken 5-81 and Neil Copping 4-56.

The battle between the bottom two sides at Penistone Park looked to be going the way of the visitors when play ceased. Haworth WE had made 153-5 in their innings with Les Jones making 46. Foulridge were going along quite well at 85-3 with Chris Gildea on 40no.

Division Two leaders, Denholme slipped up at home to Long Lee. The homesters had hit 189-6 in their innings with Rob Taylor making 52. The Keighley side galloped home by 3 wickets thanks to veteran Joe Gordon who made 45, Richard Ayrton 44 and M Day 40.

Haworth Road join Denholme on top after a ten-wicket win over Cononley at Shipley. The visitors were knocked over for 100 with Mick Holmes taking 6-28 and Andrew Gudgeon 4-47. Charlie Hainsworth made 52no as the Shipley side romped home.

There was a close finish at Crossflatts were the home side failed by 11 runs to overtake Sutton in a high scoring game. Paul Hardaker 95 and Malcolm Ellison 74, with a first wicket partnership of 171, had helped the visitors to 209-5 in their innings. In the homesters unsuccessful reply Mark Jones made 46 and Ryan Brooksbank 33.

Sandy Lane lost their way and the points in an enthralling game at Ingrow. Batting first they made a modest 118 thanks to mainly to a rearguard action 49 from opener Gary Coyle. Tony Ousey took 4-19 and N Khan 4-29. When Adie Parker went for 49 to leave the score on 68-6 the Keighley side were struggling. However, they still had 26 overs to go and Dale Hoyle and Ian Roberts set about retrieving the situation. Roberts was deceived by a slower ball from Steve Carass, having made 13. Hoyle rallied the tail end and Ingrow edged their way to a thrilling two-wicket win in the 36th over.

Skipton CI were rolled over for a modest 39 by Pendle Forest at Sandylands. Sam Halstead took 5-23 and Andy Hakin 5-15. The Fence side lost four wickets reaching their target.

There was no play between Chatburn and Airedale.

The clash of the top two in the Division Three, Thornton II and Oakworth II went the way of the home club at Cure Hill. The visitors were shot out for a modest 89 with Ian Jackson claiming 6-15. Oakworth being very complimentary about the sporting manner in which John Roughton and Jeff Tipler walked when caught behind. The homesters were rocking when four wickets had gone for very few but veterans Lee Hollingsworth, 37no, and Nigel Lockley, 33no, took their side to the points and top spot without further loss.

Ingrow St John's go joint second after a comfortable six-wicket victory over Haworth Road II at Street Lane. The visitors were despatched for 113 with Colin Bottomley taking 4-36 and Jonathan Green 3-18. The former clattered 66no to take the Saints to the spoils.

Ingrow St John's II also won, at Carleton playing J Nelson's. The Red Rose side made 85 - a total the Saints reached for the loss of six wickets.

Wilsden's M Pierson took 6-26 as Riddlesden were knocked over for 80 at Stockbridge. The visitors stormed home by eight wickets.

Embsay II collapsed to 15-5 at home to Barrowford II before Brian Hodgson 57no and Dave Barrett 27 helped them recover to 114-9 in their overs at Shires Lane, with John Cant finishing with 4-34. Then Zufar Iqbal with 7-28, sent the raiders back across the border, defeated by 46 runs.

There was no play between Pendle Forest II and Gargrave.

Glusburn II lead at the top of the Division Four extended to five points after they saw off second placed Bradley II. The leaders made 157 and they restricted their opponents to 106-9 with evergreen Richard Smith taking 5-59 and Bryan Hollis 4-47.

Crossflatts II are second, on run-rate, of a group of six clubs. They journeyed up the hill to Wilsden II and batting first made 172-9 with L Bailey scoring 74 as I Peirson claimed 7-73 off 22 overs. S Gage went one better, taking 8-26 to see the homesters back in the hut, defeated by 79 runs.

Carleton built on an opening stand of 117 to post 213-8 over at Long Lee II with Neville Allan scoring 62 and Simon Cox 60. The Keighley side replied with 166 as Allan claimed 5-48.

Keighley TC encountered few problems seeing off Skipton CI II by eight wickets at Rose Cottage. Nigel Carr scored 42 for the losers and Chris Brookes 37no for the victors.

P Feather 64 and J Perry 32 helped Airedale II to amass 170-9 at home to Cowling II. Then Perry took 6-42 as the visitors closed on 121-9 of which Matthew Wiggan scored 51.

Division Five leaders, Cullingworth II, came down to earth with a bump at home to Chatburn II. The Ribble Valley side went first and made 176-8 with M Braithwaite hitting 51 as Mark Rendell claimed 5-64. The leaders then capitulated for 119 as M Brown took 6-48.

Sutton II kept up the pressure on the leaders after a three wicket win over visitors Riddlesden II in a low scoring game. The 10-man visitors made a modest 65-9 in their innings with Mick Hawkes scoring 25 as Tony Walton claimed 4-31. The homesters collapsed to 11-4 and then 30-6 before they got home. Cononley II remain in third spot after a solid seven wicket win over visitors Pendle Forest III.

Gargrave II M Saleem took 6-6 in seven overs but couldn't prevent visitors Denholme sneaking to the points by three wickets in a low scoring game. T Greenwood had 8-30 as the homeside collapsed to 45 all out

Finally Sandy Lane II beat Ingrow II by two wickets.
