Children at a Bradford primary school helped celebrate the launch of a new report about how Bradford Council could reduce its carbon footprint.
The Carbon Management document contains recommendations for reducing the local authority’s effect on the environment.
It coincided with the publication of an Ofsted report on Lower Fields Primary School in Fenby Avenue, Bowling, which praises its efforts to help pupils understand the environment.
Chairman of the Council’s environment and waste management improvement committee, Councillor Ghazanfer Khaliq said: “This report is a timely snapshot of the key areas of Council activity which are central to carbon management.”
