From next Wednesday, Avatar: An IMAX 3D Experience is showing on the huge screen, taking audiences to a spectacular world where a reluctant hero embarks on an adventure as a human mind controlling an alien body, ultimately fighting to save the world he has learned to call home.
James Cameron, Oscar-winning director of Titanic, first dreamed up the film 15 years ago. Now, after four years of production, Avatar delivers a new generation of special effects, and a fully-immersive cinematic experience.
Avatar has been digitally-remastered for the IMAX experience. Starring Sam Worthington, Zoë Saldana, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sigourney Weaver, the epic film is written, directed and co-produced by James Cameron.
