A woman has taken the plunge for charity.
Mollie Robinson, 23, set herself the challenge of swimming 320 lengths at Craven Pool in Skipton on Saturday to raise money for the NSPCC.
“I want to make a difference,” said Mollie, of High Bradley, near Skipton, who works for Skipton Building Society.
“I want to help stop cruelty to children and I want to help in any way I can. In our society, there are thousands of helpless children and babies suffering at the hands of their parents or abusers, many who will not live to tell their tragic stories.”
Mollie hopes to have raised hundreds of pounds and sponsorship can still be pledged online at justgiving.com/mollies-8km-sponsored-swim.
