A Christmas present of a lifetime is up for grabs after it was revealed that a Bradford-bought Lotto ticket with a prize of £91,276 has yet to be claimed.
National Lottery players have been urged to check and double-check their tickets for the chance to claim this life-enhancing prize.
The search is on to find the buyer of the ticket, which matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on Wednesday, November 18.
A National Lottery spokesman said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.
“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.
“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
The Lotto numbers for that day’s draw are 1, 4, 12, 13, 18, 19 and the bonus ball was 38. The lucky ticket holder has until 5.30pm on Monday, May 17, 2010, to make their claim.
If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to the Good Causes – adding to the £23 billion already raised through sales of lottery tickets since The National Lottery launched in 1994.
To jog Lotto players’ memories, at the time the ticket was bought, JLS topped the UK album chart while The Black Eyed Peas had the top single with Meet Me Halfway and Bradford City were preparing for their weekend 1-1 draw against Accrington Stanley.
Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call 0845 9100000.
