A Bradford-based freight management firm has seen a surge in sales enquiries after adapting images from some of the world’s leading artists to market its services.
Redhead International, one of the UK’s leading logistics companies based at Low Moor, has seen enquiries grow by half over the past three months to more than 1,000 a week.
It follows the launch of an innovative six-month marketing campaign featuring some of the most iconic images created by leading artists such as Picasso, Salvador Dali, Damien Hirst and Andy Warhol.
Designers have ‘adapted’ the works to incorporate references to Redhead and freight handling.
They include the famous ‘pop art’ image of Hollywood legend Marilyn Monroe with her face covered by a truck.
Redhead launched its innovative ‘The Art of smartfreight’ marketing campaign on direct mail shots and on its website – and since September has caught the eye of hundreds more potential customers.
The campaign is designed to emphasise the company’s ability to create freight solutions to meet the individual customer requirements.
Austin Duffy, marketing manager, said: “We are delighted with the response we have had to our marketing campaign. The increased level of enquiries for our services has more than exceeded our expectations and further enhanced our reputation for delivering innovative marketing ideas to drive our business forward.”
Customer James Byram, managing director at Environmental Technologies in Harrogate, said: “As a company we have very specific needs and were impressed with the solution that Redhead developed for us.”
