Work on a multi-million-pound leisure centre is proceeding to schedule and in line with the budget set out by project bosses.
The centre near Wellholme Park, Brighouse, forms one half of a £6 million boost to leisure services in Calderdale.
The state-of-the-art facility is due to open its doors to the public next October.
Work started on the area around the proposed leisure centre and swimming pool in August.
As part of the eagerly-awaited scheme, tennis courts are being created and the overspill car park for the nearby park is being upgraded. The swimming pool’s roof is due to be in place by the new year and construction of the pool will start shortly after, according to a Council officer’s report.
