A group set up to protect and enhance one of Bradford’s finest parks says it is in desperate need of new members.
The Friends of Lister Park are on the lookout for new members to volunteer their time to promoting the area and helping to stage events.
The friends arrange walks, hold exhibitions and make the Manningham park friendly for users.
In April, the Telegraph & Argus revealed how the group was on the verge of being disbanded due to a shortage of committee members.
One of the group’s greatest achievements was the reintroduction of lion statues to the park after a lengthy absence.
