The chief executive of a leading Bradford-based motors group has been recognised for his services to the car industry.
JCT600 chief executive John Tordoff and Volkswagen brand director David Nicholson have both received a Gold Pin award from the German car manufacturer for exceptional service to the brand.
Mr Tordoff, 46, joined the family firm in 1989 after qualifying as an accountant. He was appointed chief executive in 2003.
Mr Nicholson has 25 years experience in the motor industry, including 11 years at JCT600. His role as brand director covers its Volkswagen sites in Bradford, York, Wakefield and Hull.
Chris Craft, director at Volkswagen UK, said: “JCT600 thoroughly deserve this award after providing invaluable service to the Volkswagen brand.”
