An inquest has been opened today into the death of a 30-year-old Bradford man who drowned in a canal three days before Christmas.
Richard Simon Keating, of York House, Thorpe Edge, was found at Dobson Lock, on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal at Apperley Bridge, on Monday, December 22.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
An inquest was opened and adjourned at Bradford Coroners Court for identification.
The funeral of Mr Keating, who was single and unemployed, will take place at Rawdon Crematorium next Tuesday.
